COVID-19 Policies and Procedures:

We are committed to keeping everyone healthy and safe while providing a wonderful resource for kids and adults to express themselves and work together as a team to create a story. Masks are required during rehearsals, and face shields will be worn during the performances. This may change depending on vaccinations & what school districts in the area are doing. As always, we will communicate with you every step of the way.

  • Masks are required for all programs with students under the age of 18.

  • Adult classes: masks are required for those who cannot show proof of vaccination.

  • Temperatures will be checked each day at drop-off. Anyone with a temperature of 100 and over will not be allowed to attend.

  • Grownups must be masked at drop off and pick up.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at entry.

  • If an actor is sick, does not feel 100%, or is showing any symptom of COVID-19, please do not come to class/rehearsal! Please contact your doctor to see if a COVID test is necessary. Please do not return to class/rehearsal until you’ve been cleared by your doctor.

    • Symptoms include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

  • Thorough cleanings will take place before, after, and in between classes.

  • We are thoroughly disinfecting items throughout the day, such as chairs, door handles, hooks, and cubbies.

  • If at any time an actor or instructor tests positive for COVID-19, we will take immediate action by contacting those who have been in the same room as that person and that program may be moved online.

  • If for any reason Beacon Performing Arts Center decides that conducting in-person programs is no longer fully safe for the children, families, and instructors, we reserve the right to move all camps to a fully online format. There will be no adjustments to tuition, refunds, or credits given if a student/parent does not want to continue online.
